Printed Media | Layout + Design | Print Management
We were approached by Streamline Press after they initially embarked on producing a brochure internally. During this process they asked for our opinion. After much friendly discussion about direction and purpose we happily took on the project, excited to start afresh with a blank canvas.
The objective was to engage with potential new customers by demonstrating how vibrant lithographic printing can look on uncoated paper.
Having established that the target audience was wide ranging, including large corporates and the automotive sector, we also had to consider appealing to design and PR companies, who can in turn promote the impact of uncoated print and paper to their clients. We began the conceptual stage – our chosen idea of records – introducing songs which included colour in the title such as Red Alert (Basement Jaxx) and I am the Black Gold of the Sun (Rotary Connection). Each song also had a QR code link to YouTube for easy access to the record. To showcase large areas of printed solid colour and full bleed images we opted for a 250mm square brochure which loosely reflected the record sleeve format.
The client was over the moon with the outcome.
“ The agencies we contacted loved the brochures, we gained several new key clients through the attention raised. Producing your own branded literature can be hard work – the resulting product is something we can be really proud of. ”
